Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field from a reputable university; advanced degrees (MBA, MSC) or professional credentials (CFA, ACCA, HKICPA) are advantageous, especially at senior levels.
- Solid understanding of Hong Kong IPO processes, HKEX Listing Rules, SFC regulations, and disclosure standards-particularly as they apply to Mainland China-based issuers (e.g., H-share, red chip, WVR structures).
Strong financial modeling, valuation (comps, DCF), and Excel/PPT proficiency; familiarity with IFRS/ HKFRS reporting frameworks. - Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (essential for client and onshore team coordination) and professional fluency in English (required for HK regulatory documents, internal communication, and investor materials).
- Analyst/Associate: 2-4 years; hands-on experience drafting HK prospectus sections and managing IPO workstreams.
- VP/Director: 5+ years; proven track record leading HKEX IPOs for Chinese companies, including CSRC coordination (for H-shares) and regulator engagement.
High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset in cross-border (PRC-HK) team environments.
Familiarity with evolving HKEX initiatives (e.g., Chapter 18C for specialist tech, ESG disclosure requirements) and Mainland regulatory dynamics affecting offshore listings.
